Who We Are
A private office built on relationships, discretion, and results.
Montreval Private Office is an organisation focused on raising capital for projects and deploying capital for high-net-worth individuals. We work with institutions, private organisations, and leading private banks. This combination of intelligence, technology, and the right relationships creates strong results and lasting partnerships with happy clients who become part of our business family.

Technology

The Person Behind the Office
Sem May
Sem May founded Montreval Private Office after building, and living inside, the world he now consults for. Raised in the Netherlands, he studied retail management in Maastricht before building a successful e-commerce business from the ground up. That venture led him into oil and gas brokerage, where he first learned the mechanics of trade finance and the relationships that make markets move. A period in Dubai real estate brokerage followed, sharpening his eye for structured deals and cross-border capital. Along the way, he built the network of family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and institutions that Montreval now draws on for every client relationship.
A Distinguished Partnership
Edmond de Rothschild, Geneva
One of our unique selling points is that we hold a strong relationship with Edmond de Rothschild in Geneva. We have our own asset management agreement and are able to make co-investments. This gives our private office the credibility and professionalism our investors require.
A Private Introduction
LGT Private Banking, Vaduz
In Vaduz, Liechtenstein, we met with LGT Private Banking to introduce one of our clients to a name synonymous with discretion. LGT is one of the very few major private banks still owned by its founding family, the Princely House of Liechtenstein, rather than public shareholders. That ownership structure removes short-term pressure from the equation and keeps the bank focused on multi-generational relationships rather than quarterly results. It is this independence, paired with LGT's famously selective approach to new clients, that makes every introduction we arrange a genuine privilege.
A Global Network, In Person
Hosting Our Partners in Dubai
Relationships in this industry are built face to face, not over email. When our banking partners flew in from Hong Kong and Singapore, we hosted them in Dubai at the Marriott at the Creek for several days of direct, unhurried conversation. It is this kind of in-person contact, across time zones and continents, that keeps our network genuine rather than transactional, and lets us move quickly for our clients when it matters most.
